Fine Art for Clients of Fine Taste

Pejj Nunes

I have been an artist for 45 years. Creating with oil, pastels primarily.

In 2011 I began developing what I now call Shibui Found Image Art. Shibui Found Image Art begins with random action painting, and then becomes found image art. Shibui is a challenge, an exploration and interaction of the mind. It "tells you" its process; like a puzzle and finding things in the clouds. It is abstraction, and always has a fantastical nature. Shibui is complex yet remains simplicity in its completeness. Any and all decisions made affect its outcome as to what it will become. Shibui has its own "rules of progression". It is "cool" as its Japanese name suggests. The purpose behind Shibui Found Image Art is to help many people through its therapeutic qualities, and its creative, inspiring nature. Other mediums include chalk pastels, oils.

I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree with concentrations in print making, drawing, and photography from the University of Southern Maine.
